Inside the Team

The People Side
Tuesday, Nov 3  ·  Morning & Afternoon  ·  Runs Twice Runs Twice

Organizations are asking more of teams than ever before: continuous alignment, accurate decision-making, 24/7 communication, and rapid transformation. Many teams are working remotely, globally, and continuously.

Today's teams are struggling because most executives were never taught how to build and lead high performing teams in an environment like this. This immersive experience explores the mindset shifts, relational dynamics, and leadership practices that enable today's teams to move beyond functional silos and lead with greater collective effectiveness.

Through facilitated dialogue, experiential exercises, and peer reflection, leaders will gain practical insights they can immediately apply within their own teams and organizations.

This session runs twice — morning and afternoon — so you can attend either or both depending on your schedule.

  • The team tensions that are emerging in today's workplace
  • The role of team dynamics in organizational performance
  • Practices that create the conditions for better team performance
  • An assessment of your leadership team's current alignment and connection

Refresh Your Executive Team Operating System

The Croton Group
Tuesday, Nov 3  ·  Morning  ·  9:00am – 12:00pm Half-Day Session

You've built things, led things, and proven things. But organizations shift, strategies pivot, and somehow the rhythms and structures that once drove clarity and performance quietly drift. This hands-on half-day session gives you the space — and the honest foil — to take a hard look at how your executive team actually operates today. Using an Executive Team Operating System framework, you'll audit your current state, name what's working and what isn't, and begin mapping a path toward the operating system your team needs right now.

  • Conduct an honest audit of your current executive team operating system — cadence, strategic alignment, and accountability structures
  • Identify the gaps between where you are and what "good" looks like for a high-performing senior team
  • Gain outside perspective from a peer partner
  • Leave with a current-state snapshot and prioritized actions to bring back to your team

From Strength to Strength

Facilitated Book Discussion
Tuesday, Nov 3  ·  Afternoon  ·  1:00pm – 4:00pm Half-Day Session

The strengths that built your career were real. But Arthur Brooks argues that the formula behind that success becomes a trap in the second half of life. This facilitated afternoon conversation, exploring Brooks' From Strength to Strength as a shared text, explores the pivotal shift from fluid to crystallized intelligence — and what it means to lead from wisdom, relationship, and meaning rather than speed, status, and self. In a world where AI increasingly commoditizes the horsepower that once set you apart, your crystallized and emergent strengths have never been more valuable — or more worth claiming.

Prerequisite: Participants are expected to have read Arthur Brooks' From Strength to Strength prior to the session.
  • Explore Brooks' fluid-to-crystallized intelligence arc and your location on the curve
  • How are your strengths changing? What does that mean for you?
  • Explore how AI is accelerating this shift — commoditizing fluid intelligence while making human wisdom, depth, and relationship irreplaceable
  • Consider what leading from your "2nd half strengths" actually looks like from here
